Romantic 3 Day Getaway - Your 2024 Nashville Guide

Searching for the perfect romantic vacation in the US? Look no further! Nashville is the perfect place to visit!

Even if you’re a local, these are some great ideas to jazz up your date ideas!

Romantic things to do in Nashville:

Cheekwood (West) - Beautiful gardens, and it’s well worth touring the historic home on the property! There is an art exhibit on the top most floor as well. It’s worth going! I’ve been many times over the years and never grow tired of visiting, as each season has something new to offer in the gardens, and the art exhibits change.

Holiday Salon & Spa (East)- There is truly nothing quite like a one or two our session at this spa. You get a massive hot pool, sauna and steam room all to yourself! I highly recommend booking some time here. If you’re more stir crazy, I recommend one hour, but if you love some slow and peaceful time to yourself definitely go for two hours. If you plan ahead you can also have them order some snacks and drinks for Cafe Roze!

Johnny Cash Museum (Downtown) - Johnny & June’s romance was a beautiful one, so this museum is a must. There is so much history and memorabilia here that you need to check out! I recommend taking this one slowly, as there is a LOT to see here! An hour to an hour and a half is a good amount of time spent here. They have a fun gift shop as well!

Rudy’s Jazz Room (The Gulch) - I know, I know… Nashville is known as the country music capital, but you can wander into any bar on Broadway for a taste of that for free. Rudy’s is a unique experience, and jazz is an extremely romantic genre of music and worth listening to live. There is typically a $10-$20 cover. Their drinks are good, but the menu isn’t anything to write home about.

Dancing (various neighborhoods) - The 5 Spot has motown music and dancing Monday’s beginning at 9pm for swing dancing, and 10pm for regular dancing ($5 cover), The Flamingo often has typical top 40 dancing on Fridays and Saturdays, Plaza Mariachi has Salsa on Thursday nights at 7pm (free lesson at 7). Motown Monday at 5 Spot used to be the place I would be every single week - out of these three it’s probably my favorite!

Book a dreamy Nashville photoshoot (anywhere!) - I offer photo experiences that are tailored to you! Romantic places to stay in Nashville:

Fairlane Hotel (Downtown) - A touch of class and mid century modern. I’m obsessed with their corner king rooms! Their restaurant, Ellington’s, is also wonderful if you don’t want to have to go far for lunch or dinner. They have a nice patio for drinks as well.

Noelle Hotel (Downtown) - Gatsby vibes… need I say more?! They have a nice rooftop bar, and a hidden one in the basement as well - check it out! This is a fun hotel to wander around and admire. They’re Drugstore Coffee is also a huge perk of staying there, as well as the little shop inside.

Germantown Inn (Germantown) - Perfect if you want to stay in the cutest neighborhood in all of Nashville, and to be able to walk places. It’s also a quiet spot if you’re wanting a relaxing vibe. It’s walking distance from Mother’s Ruin, 5th & Taylor, City House, Steadfast Coffee, Barista Parlor, Abednego, Little Hats Italian Market, and The Golden Slipper.

Nashville romantic restaurants:

5th & Taylor (Germantown) - Everything is incredible, and you’ll have a delicious American meal. I love getting dressed up to go here! Be adventurous, or try asking for the chef’s favorite. They usually have delightful desserts on the menu as well.

Folk (East) - Everything I’ve ever had here is amazing - both their small plates, as well as their pizzas. The tiramisu is to die for! The ambiance of this place is so lovely, and you’re sure to enjoy an evening spent here.

Cafe Roze (East) - The most adorable spot for lunch or dinner! I love the ambiance after dark. They also have a wonderful breakfast menu too. Try the rose latte, or the turmeric latte.

Romantic places for drinks in Nashville:

Attaboy (East) - They craft everything according to what you like. There is often a wait, so plan on that. If you want to have some fun while killing time, head to UpDown up the street to play some arcade games while you wait.

The Fox Cocktail Bar (East) - Speakeasy vibes and an incredible drink menu! They have some delicious old fashioned cocktails, and I also really love their espresso martini!

The Authentique (East) - A french wine bar, perfect for a cozy, European atmosphere. This is a favorite date night spot for my husband and I, and the staff is incredible warm and kind!

Wishing you the most romantic Nashville couples weekend! xo
