MEET YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER: ALICE

Hello! It’s so nice to meet you!

I’ve been living in Nashville, TN for 10 years now. My parents always surrounded me with art and creativity - everything from music, interior design, theatre, poetry and photography. My dad was the first to hand me a camera at the age of 11 (over twenty years!), and I never put it down.

I’m an old soul and a hopeless romantic. While I listen to multiple genres of music, I often gravitate to old jazz, movie scores or Lofi. My husband and I love going for nightly walks around our neighborhood, or cozying up on the couch to watch an old film or read. We both admire architecture, and both have a love affair with Paris and NYC. When I’m not craving the busy streets of the city, I love escaping to the mountains or beach. I happen to be obsessed with quality coffee, all thanks to my husband being a bit of a coffee snob. When we travel we are always looking for the best coffee shop, and on a special occasion, a top notch cocktail.

My life is built upon intentionality, presence and beauty, and that is the experience I deeply desire to give others! It’s why I love to get to know every person I’m photographing. I don’t want to just be someone you pay money to for a service and product, and I want you to be more than just another face in front of my camera.

I’m not the cheapest photographer you could hire, and there’s a reason for that. I am incredibly intentional and present with each client leading up to and during their experience. I don’t take on more than 2 or 3 clients per month to make sure I can give my full attention to each, while also making sure I don’t neglect my health and personal life. Film is an expensive art form that requires a lot of practice, knowledge and wisdom of how to use your limited amount of shots - typically only 24-36 per roll. Nothing captures a moment quite like film… no filters or new technology can adequately replicate it. I also think photos deserve to be in tangible form and not just lost in the iCloud abyss, so each client receives a beautiful photo book that also contains memories and quotes.

Life is so beautiful, and I love getting to immortalize moments of it with photographs.
