The one photo every destination wedding in Paris needs: put this shot on your photo list!
If you are looking for Eiffel Tower photo ideas, look no further!
This is THE SHOT you need to add to your photoshoot list, and there’s a few things you need to know in order to get this specific look. I’m going to tell you exactly how to capture it - read on!
How to capture this iconic shot at night:
First of all, you need to plan to arrive right after the sun has set so there is still a little bit of lingering color in the sky. If you wait too long, the sky will be extremely dark and lacking color.
Next up, you’re going to need to set your ISO fairly high, likely around 1000 or more. You can experiment with it, but a high ISO is essential for your background to be bright. If you’re not a fan of grain - not to worry! The next step will ensure your subject isn’t overly grainy…
An on camera flash is an absolute MUST! This is what is going to illuminate the bride or the couple. If you don’t want the flash to look as harsh, you can bounce it off of a wall like I did for these photos. However, if you are not shooting on a side street like we did for these, you’re going to have to use direct flash.
For a little extra fun, use a star flair filter on your lens to make the surrounding streetlights and car headlights shine. You can order these for very little money on Amazon.
I also recommend adding a bit of shimmer to your outfit and/or accessories, as this will add more sparkle and shine to your photos and help them really pop!
Color is a BLAST for this particular shot, but you should also consider turning some of these photos to black and white for a bit of old Hollywood glamour. I love both versions so much!
