A Bridal Jumpsuit: A unique wedding look for an anti bride style!
As an editorial wedding photographer who doesn’t photograph large, typical weddings, this bridal jumpsuit was BRILLIANT to capture!
This is the first look of a three part bridal editorial I photographed in Paris, France with my best friend and fellow photographer Jessica Palardy. We spent all summer conceptualizing, planning, emailing and scheduling this photoshoot… and it was a dream come true! (keep scrolling to learn more about all the vendors)
For this jumpsuit and location I wanted to represent a woman who is chic, bold and confidently walking through life. Julia in this jumpsuit 100% embodied this! The stunning architecture surrounding her reinforces the idea of boldness, and the timeless beauty that each bride possesses on their wedding day.
Why a bridal jumpsuit is a good alternative to the usual wedding dress after party outfit…
Now don’t get me wrong - I adore a beautiful gown or classy cocktail dress, but with a jumpsuit:
Comfort is king (or QUEEN in this case)! Although wedding designers have done a lot to make dresses more comfortable, there is still nothing quite like being able to slip out of a dress and into something that is more flexible, and that you don’t have to worry about bending over in.
One word - mobility. If you’re planning to have any type of afterparty involving dancing, there is no better option for dancing than a pant option!
It gives you a completely separate look as your celebrate your special day! Gone are the days of wearing one thing for an entire day! For all my fashion girlies, get the most out of your once-in-a-lifetime wedding day and showcase multiple facets of your style.
We had an incredible team of vendors who truly brought this vision to life. If you’re in need of someone, I cannot more highly recommend these individuals!
